Sneak Peak “Influences”: Electric Light Orchestra – The Diary of Horace Wimp

This is a superb 70’s ballad by the awesome “Electric Light Orchestra” taken from their equally brilliant 1979 album Discovery. Out of all the tracks on that album this one moves me the most. So much so that recently I used it as the inspiration for an aritst I’m producing for. Its an amazing arrangement and the irony is that with the technology available today this whole track could be recreated (to a certain degree) by someone in their bedroom studio.
